Overall, my stay was quite pleasant, especially considering the fantastic golf course and very good dining experiences. The hotel is definitely a bit dated, but it offers great value for the price. On the downside, the rooms need some attention, and noise from groups can be disruptive at times.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel for a golf weekend with friends. The rooms were comfortable and modern, offering good value for the price. However, the dining experience could use some improvement as the restaurant food was basic and the wine prices were a bit steep. Overall, the hotel has a pleasant atmosphere, but some updates would enhance the experience.

Dining

While the dinner was better than expected, the restaurant food overall felt a bit basic and could use a more diverse menu. The wine prices felt a bit inflated compared to the meal.

Facilities were good overall, with ample lounge areas and private rooms, but the Terrace Bar could improve its food offerings.

7.0/10

I had a lovely stay at the hotel, with friendly staff and some much-improved rooms that really made a difference from last year. The golf courses were fantastic, but there were a few hiccups with service and dining that dimmed the experience slightly. Overall, it’s great value for a golf break, but there are areas that need attention to enhance the overall experience.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were redesigned and more comfortable than I remembered, though still showing signs of age in some areas. We had a hot water issue that was a bit inconvenient, but the beds were comfy.
Service
6.0
The staff were cheerful and welcoming, which was a plus, but there were definitely issues with the attention to service, especially during meal times and with bar service.
Location
9.0
The hotel offers a great location for golfers since it’s near the excellent golf courses, and I enjoyed the picturesque views around the area.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast and dinner were decent with a good variety, but I felt some aspects could have been better organized, especially with the pre-orders and running out of menu items.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities have some potential, especially with the ongoing renovations, but I noticed areas needing improvement, especially in relation to golf equipment availability.

The hotel offered a lovely stay, with spacious rooms and a comfortable atmosphere. The service was exceptional, especially during our charity event. However, the dining experience had its ups and downs, with some meals receiving rave reviews while others fell flat. Overall, it's a charming spot with great potential but could use some updates.

Service

The staff were incredibly helpful and supportive, especially during our event. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.
Location
7.0
The hotel is set in a peaceful country retreat, though a bit isolated. It's a great escape for golf lovers and those seeking a quiet getaway.
Dining
6.0
Dining varied; while some meals were fantastic, like the vegetarian lasagne, breakfast left much to be desired with limited options and cold dishes.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities included a decent cocktail bar and access to a beautiful golf course, which added to the overall experience.

6.2/10

My stay at the hotel was enjoyable, especially with the golfing package we had, but I found the rooms quite dated and in need of a refresh. The staff was excellent, and the food served during my visit was plentiful and delicious, though the bar prices were a significant drawback. Overall, the location is great for golf enthusiasts, but keep in mind the need for room renovations.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms felt very tired and definitely required a major refurbishment. They seemed stuck in a time warp, lacking modern touches.
Service
8.0
The staff were fabulous and welcoming throughout my stay, and although the bar was understaffed at times, the service in the restaurant was delightful.
Location
7.0
The location was perfect for a golf getaway, with great courses nearby, but the hotel lacked charm or character.
Dining
7.0
The food overall was good, especially the buffet breakfast, though some items were barely warm.
Facilities
5.0
The golf courses were a fantastic challenge, but other facilities felt outdated.
